Kitchen Diner Transformation- Suffolk

CHALLENGE

The client contacted us as the layout in their home wasn’t working for them. Having decided that they needed a change, we discussed ways we could improve the space. The downstairs of the property consisted of several small rooms which were lacking in flow. We discussed what wasn’t working for the owners and what they needed from the area. We then talked about their wish list and tried to incorporate as much of it as possible.

SOLUTION

The property wasn’t without its issues. The ceilings and floors were different levels so, the ceilings were pulled down, the floors dug up and, everything was levelled to help with the flow. We stripped all rooms and knocked the kitchen and dining area into one space to create a large kitchen with an island and breakfast bar. A stunning new electric aga was fitted in an original chimney breast that was modified to fit. A window was knocked out so that the opening could be made bigger to house French doors. Another additional window was added to flood the space with light.

The client chose these beautiful blue shaker style units with contemporary styled handles. The quartz worktops set off the look and bounce the light around the room. Revive & Restore undertook the full-refurbishment of this space from knocking the rooms through to electrics, plumbing, plastering, fitting the kitchen, painting and tiling.
