A barn conversion renovation doesn’t mean stripping out and starting again.
We get the opportunity to work on some fabulous properties and this one was no exception. We were able to save many of the original structural features including a handmade pair of shutters, the stall dividers which we used as wall panelling and the original brick floor in the porch. This is what we are about, bringing properties into the 21st century whilst retaining and preserving what we can.
These shutters filter light from the bedroom to the stairwell.
Wood panelling from the stalls was reused in this stairwell as well as the original handrail creating an interesting and functional area.
This two-bedroom, one bathroom property brings together the old and the new in a home fit for the 21st century.
